Since 2013 Lancaster BID has been a driving force of economic, cultural and social change in Lancaster city centre. As we approach the end of the second BID term, we are asking levy paying businesses to once again VOTE YES for another 5 years ensuring Lancaster remains a place where people want to live, work, visit and do business.
Read our Business Plan for all the details of the BID and our plans for the next five years from 1st April 2021. Based on our consultation with city centre businesses, we will focus on Five Key Goals:
- Marketing Lancaster as a Destination
- Safe and Secure City Centre
- Clean & Attractive City Centre
- High Quality Events Programme
- Direct Support to Businesses

Notices of Ballot have been dispatched on Friday 18th December 2020 to all hereditaments eligible to vote in the BID Renewal Ballot.
Ballot papers will be dispatched by Royal Mail to the same contacts on 14th January 2021 and must be signed and returned to arrive no later than 5.00pm on Thursday 11th February 2021 (Ballot day).
To be successful the ballot must gain a majority by both number and rateable value of ballots cast. Look out for your ballot paper in the post and make sure it is returned promptly to ensure your voice is heard.
