Apply Now for Business Restart Grants

Lancaster BID is encouraging all eligible business to get your applications in quickly for the Government Restart Grants. All businesses must submit a simple new application for this grant even if you have already been receiving grants during lockdown. The grants are being managed by Lancaster City Council who have committed to prompt payment of eligible applications.

Grants are available to Hospitality, Accommodation, Leisure, Personal Care, Gyms and Non-essential Retail businesses. These will be one off payments to help those businesses to reopen safely. The value of grants is allocated according to the rateable value of the property as follows:

 

Hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses:

• Rateable Value £15,000 or below: £8,000 Grant
• Rateable Value £15,001 to £50,999: £12,000 Grant
• Rateable Value £51,000 and above: £18,000 Grant

Non-essential retail businesses:

• Rateable Value £15,000 or below: £2,667 Grant
• Rateable Value £15,001 to £50,999: £4,000 Grant
• Rateable Value £51,000 and above: £6,000 Grant
