BID Welcomes New City Centre Businesses

There is a real sense of confidence in Lancaster city centre as a host of new businesses open their doors. Lancaster BID would like to extend a very warm welcome to them all and we look forward to working with you.

The newest business – Sydney’s of Lancaster – opens its doors in Market Square today (April 1st) with an impressive looking food and drink menu.

Other recent additions to Lancaster City Centre include:

  • Jimmy’s Tap House – an eclectic craft ale bar, and home of the unique Kegorator, located down Slip Inn Lane.
  • LYPH STYLE – independent art house clothing designer and retailer, situated on upper Penny Street
  • Blue Inc – fashion menswear retailer, located on lower Penny Street
  • Phone Mac – Phone and Mac repair specialists, also located on lower Penny Street
  • Aesthetics – by Kirsty Roocroft, a stunning aesthetics salon, situated on Dalton Square
  • Mighty Student Living Lancaster – open their new city centre location on Market Street
  • TWO THAI – Serving authentic flavours of Thai cuisine, situated on China Street, snow open for bookings

That’s not all as several more new openings are scheduled to bring even more life into Lancaster city centre before the summer. YMCA will be opening their new shop in St Nic’s Arcades whilst nandos and Zizzi are both preparing their new premises on market Street. Perelicious is preparing to open at the top of Penny Street and the Tite and Locke pub is being opened by Lancaster Brewery on Platform 3 at Lancaster Railway Station.

This wealth of new businesses certainly shows confidence in Lancaster city centre. Make sure you venture into the city centre to try out somewhere new and discover a new favourite today!
