Since lockdown restrictions began to be eased Lancaster BID has been busy promoting local businesses and rewarding customers to say THANK YOU for returning to support Lancaster city centre. With numerous chances to win prizes from such a fantastic and unique selection of businesses in the city centre, there has been no better time to Shop Local!
Independent businesses came together in force for Lancaster Indie Weekend with a Win a Window promotion which saw one lucky shopper win over £1,000 worth of fantastic prizes. The lucky winner was Becca Thompson who has just completed her degree and is about to make a start a Masters. With prizes including a single bed, highchair, tin of paint, clothing vouchers, clutch bags, jewellery, haircuts and food and drink vouchers there was certainly plenty to be excited about. Becca collected the prizes with her boyfriend Joe and was looking forward to her pampering at Jo and Cass and loved the Chlobo Jewellery from Silver Tree. With numerous breakfasts, coffee and cake vouchers she is sure to be popular with her friends!
Lancaster BID have also reached a milestone in the Love Lancaster Lottery which turns up in a randomly selected business each week. A lucky customer gets to select a box and win the amount inside to spend instore. Winners so far have varied from £20 to £500 with over £1,000 handed out since the promotion started. The Lancaster BID team will be dropping into a different business each week for the rest of the year so keep shopping in the city centre and supporting local businesses for your chance to win big.
