Lancaster BID has been setting tongues wagging by bringing Santa’s Passage to the city centre for a limited time only!
With Lancaster On Ice well underway and the Big Wheel due to arrive in Dalton Square, Lancaster BID have been busy with plans to entice the anticipated 50,000 skaters to venture further into the city centre and discover what our historic city has to offer.
A key focus has been to add festoon lighting, Santa and his Sleigh and reindeer hoof floor graphics to Gage Street. We’ve also renamed Ffrances Passage for the festive season and are encouraging people to venture down Santa’s Passage to explore the fantastic city centre offer from local businesses.
Visitors unfamiliar with the city may visit Lancaster On Ice without realising just how close they are to our fantastic range of high street multiples and unique boutique independents. With lighting above Gage Street to guide them to Santa’s Passage we’re aiming to give city centre footfall an extra boost during the critical Christmas trading period.
