For almost the past two years Lancaster BID has taken over a column in the Guardian and been offering it to businesses each week to help promote themselves. We need your help to fill this each week so would you like to have a column? If so we would need general information about the business, for example when it was set up, who by etc., if you have any special anniversaries coming up like your birthday, any special offers you have, any new members of staff, or any staff that you would personally like to thank/feature. We would need about 300-400 words (in the 3rd person) and a photograph that we can send over to the paper for proofing. We would be looking to have your article in the paper ASAP but would let you know when exactly so you can promote alongside it.
We are delighted to be providing this FREE service for our businesses in the city. However, we need your help to keep this column going – without articles to submit there is no column to put out to advertise the many diverse and wonderful businesses we have here in Lancaster. So “Use it or Lose it” – unless we get articles we may not be able to keep this service going. All it takes is 10 minutes of your time to put together a piece all about your business, whatever sector it is in, and we will happily get it featured in The Lancaster Guardian completely free of charge. With the potential to reach approximately 40,000 local readers, this could be just the boost your business needs to start the New Year. So what are you waiting for?
