Max Confirmed as New BID Warden

Lancaster BID is delighted to confirm that Max Dior has been appointed as the new BID Warden. He has been covering the post in recent weeks and has now taken over the role on a permanent basis. Max will already be a familiar face to many businesses as he has worked as a regular security guard for St Nic’s Arcades. His experience and knowledge of the city centre will be invaluable in his role for Lancaster BID.

Max will be found out and about on the city streets providing a visible presence and supporting businesses to reduce incidents of antisocial behaviour and shoplifting. He will also provide a crucial link between city centre businesses and the police by ensuring details are shared of regular issues and encouraging businesses to support instances of criminal behaviour.

The easiest way to contact Max when he is on duty is through the city centre Community Radio network. Any business in the city centre can purchase a radio to join the network and be linked to other businesses to share real time information about issues across the city centre. Speak to Max, or contact the BID office, if you’d like more details about getting a radio for your business.

Max can also be contacted by email on [email protected]. Drop him an email if you have an issue you’d like to discuss or would like him to pop in and see you the next time he is on duty.

Throughout December, the BID Warden hours have been increased to provide additional support to businesses during the busy festive shopping period. Working hours have been extended into some evenings and covering most Sundays to provide even greater support to businesses.

If you’ve not met Max yet, make sure you say hello next time you see him out and about in his BID Warden uniform.
