One of the UK’s fastest growing radio stations will soon start broadcasting in Lancaster on DAB. Greatest Hits Radio already covers most of the UK, including Lancashire. From August 1, 2022 the radio station officially launches across Lancaster and Morecambe.
Greatest Hits Radio is home to a number of well known presenters including Simon Mayo, Mark Goodier, Jackie Brambles and Pat Sharp. The station plays THE best music of the 70s, 80s & 90s from David Bowie to Gary Barlow, Queen to Blondie, Madonna to George Michael and much more.
As part of the broadcast update, people living in and around Lancaster will benefit from hearing Lancashire’s Rock FM on DAB along with other Bauer Media Audio services including Hits Radio, Absolute Classic Rock and Magic Soul.
To celebrate the launch they are offering limited introductory advertising offers to businesses who want to reach local people in Lancaster and across Lancashire. Opportunities include a 15% discount for Lancaster BID members and a free digital health check for businesses.
